Newly built, The Lodge at Valley Lakes is contemporary and country-styled. With generous volumes and balconies upstairs, designed specifically to enjoy both views of the mountain on the one side, and of the river and lake on the other, make her a firm favorite.

Downstairs:
2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people, can be configured to twin or kingsize beds.
A full bathroom plus a separate toilet.
An open plan living area with a TV and fireplace is adjacent to the fully equipped modern kitchen.
Upstairs:
An open plan living room styled to study or read has 2 balconies, one overlooking the lake and the other, the mountain.
2 luxury bedrooms with Juliet balconies overlooking the lake, sleep 4 people. They can be configured to twin or kingsize beds.
They have full en-suite bathrooms with views of the mountain.
Outside:
The Lodge has its own private fire pit overlooking the river. It is suitable for cooking under the stars in fair weather. Built from the bricks salvaged from chalet 2 when it burnt down.

Unbelievable comfort and super affordable
The cottage was impeccably decorated and super comfortable. Cooking in the kitchen, dining at the large dining table and sipping on wine in the upstairs space with a beautiful view of the dam perfected our days Farouk manages the property well and is knowledgeable about the area and suggested many hiking trails. We enjoyed the space so much and did not want to leave – this is definitely a home away from home and the perfect space to recharge.

Warm and stylish. We had a a great stay. Beautiful mountain views from the rooms as well as amazing perspectives of the lake from the upstairs patio. A real recharge in the scents and sounds of nature. We will most definitely be back.

Worth It
The host was friendly, pleasant, polite Farouk. Loved the location close to the river,dam and mountains very peaceful, the views are beautiful from all directions of the house whether you in the bathroom, bedroom or kitchen. My boys had alot of FUN exploring the place, canoeing was our highlight. We loved everything about the house decor upstairs and downstairs, beds were comfortable and clean linen, soft throws and towels and safe environment you can sleep with the doors open. Will definitely come back.
