Located at the foot of Mount Sutherland on our home farm, Elton, our little cottage with a big heart has access to a myriad of footpaths, farm roads, hiking, and 4×4 trails that will delight outdoor enthusiasts and inspire your curious little adventurers.
So bring your boots, bicycles, and binoculars and come and enjoy some mountain magic and a farm-fresh experience.

Everything was perfect
The fireplace was my favorite feature. The photos do not do this place justice, the place is way bigger than I expected I could have spent a whole week there! The cottage is SO cozy and now I see why that was such a big comment in previous reviews. Although there’s no heaters in the rooms they were still nice and warm (it was snowing outside). We had a great weekend and would choose this accommodation again in a heartbeat.

Location great – secluded and peaceful. Farm dogs loved by our kids and great fun to play and go on long walks with. Garden beautiful and restful. Bath water was always hot and fire was great on a cold night. Privacy was fantastic. Staff helpful and unobtrusive. Fresh farm milk and beautiful flower posies appreciated.

We decided to take a work-cation and get away from city life for a few days. The cottage is very quaint, clean and comfortable. The views are breathtaking. The staff are very helpful and the owners even let me use their office for meetings as the WiFi signal was better. It’s one of the best-kept secrets of the Underberg and we will definitely go back!

Most amazing setting. Loved the fresh flowers in the house and the complimentary fresh farm milk. A lovely touch. We loved everything about our stay.
Our walks were incredible as the views are just incredible and we saw various buck, crowned cranes and a spoonbill, as well as others and farm animals. Just perfect.
